Admission to Primary School
Shirley Manor is designated as a Primary School and we educate children from 4+ through to eleven years of age. We also have the facility of an on-site Nursery which caters for children aged 3+.
All children are admitted into our Reception classes in the September of the academic year in which they are five.

Nursery
Entry to Nursery at three points in the school year:
- September
- January
- April (After the Easter break)
Our Nursery takes children the term after their 3rd birthday.
To register your child for a place in Nursery, please contact the school office using the contact details above. We will need to see your child’s birth certificate.

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Admission Arrangements for September 2024-2025 are below. The Admissions Policy of the school is common to most Bradford schools and is outlined in the document “Admission Arrangements” which is published by Bradford Council’s Children’s Services.
